Frequently asked questions
& product features
Why is the PFG560 manufactured with a medical approved power supply?
- International safety standards require that all devices plugged into the mains power and at the same time have conductive contact with humans, must conform with the highest safety standards.
- The PFG560 instrument is classified as a Patient Contact [Type BF] medical device. The use of a Patient Contact medical device is described as; “used for applied parts that have conductive long-term contact with the patient.”
- To meet all safety standards the PFG560 is designed with a power supply that observes the following safety standards: IEC/BS EN/EN60601-1 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 version three with 2XMOPP level.
Why is the PFG560 manufactured with an internal power supply?
An internal power supply prevents the client from accidentally using an external, non-approved, power supply that will compromise safety.
Can the PFG560 be used internationally?
- The internal power supply enables the PFG560 to be used in all countries.
- International mains voltage ranges from 110 to 240 Volts worldwide. The internal power supply of thePFG560 can accommodate a wider range of input voltages, namely 80 ~264VAC.
Why does the PFG560 use Li-Polymer Battery technology?
- The internal Li-Polymer battery provides for a minimum of 5 hours of operation while unplugged from the mains power.
- The Li-Polymer battery is automatically charged when the PFG560 is connected to the mains power.
- High-end cell phones use the same Li-Polymer battery technology because of its excellent reliability and long service life.
What is the Milliamp output of the PFG560?
The PFG560 maximum output exceeds 30mA
What is the Frequency range of the PFG560?
- The programable frequency output range is 0,01Hz to 100 000Hz
- The term hertz (Hz) is the unit of frequency. It is defined as one cycle per second.
- 1 hertz = One cycle per second, can also be expressed as 1 Hz
- 1 000 hertz = A thousand cycles per second, can also be expressed as 1 kHz
- 100 000 hertz = A hundred thousand cycles per second, can also be expressed as 100 kHz
What is the output Frequency wave form of the PFG560?
- The frequency output wave form is square wave.
- A square wave is the most efficient waveform to induce a resonant frequency in the targeted pathogen.
Does the PFG560 output frequency, have a “pulsate” feature
The PFG560 has a pulsate feature that can be activated or deactivated in the software.
Does the PFG560 output frequency, have a “Sweep” feature
- The PFG560 has a sweep feature that can be activated or deactivated in the software.
- The sweep feature is used to start several Hz below the targeted frequency and incrementally increase to several Hz above the targeted frequency.
- The sweep feature is effectively used in the PATHOGEN LIST
Does the PFG560 have a frequency repeat function?
- The PFG560 has a repeat function.
- The repeat function can be applied to a program (containing 20 frequencies) and to a Group (containing 20 Programs).
Does the PFG560 have frequency soft start?
- The PFG560 does have frequency soft start.
- At every start of a new frequency the amplitude is ramped up over a predetermined period.
- Frequency soft start provides the user with a better experience in that the user is not exposed to a sudden strong frequency output at the start of every new frequency.
How many programs can be stored on the PFG560?
In total the PFG560 can contain up to 3630 separate frequencies with their individual control elements.
What is the purpose of the MAIN LIST?
- The Main List contains the master Rife frequency list.
- This list is preprogramed and cannot be edited.
- The Main List can contain up to 910 separate frequencies with control elements.
What is the purpose of the OWN LIST-PC?
- This list can be edited via the Windows based software program.
- The Own List can contain up to 910 separate frequencies with control elements.
What is the purpose of the OWN LIST-PFG560?
- This list is be edited via the onboard keypad.
- The Own List-PFG560 can contain up to 500 separate frequencies with control elements.
What is the purpose of the GROUPS-DEFAULT?
- This list can be edited via the Windows based software program.
- The Groups-Default list can contain up to 20 groups of frequencies.
- Each group can contain 20 separate frequencies with control elements.
- The main purpose of the group list is to compile groups of frequencies to use in conjunction with the PFG560-MAT.
What is the purpose of the PATHOGEN LIST-PC?
- This list can be edited via the Windows based software program.
- The Pathogen List can contain up to 910 separate frequencies with control elements.
- The various control elements and attributes of this list makes it very effective in addressing individual pathogens very effectively.
What is the purpose of the RECENT LIST?
- This list records the last 10 programs used on the PFG560.
- The list provides convenient direct access to recently used programmes.
